Refit is focused on helping people struggling with illness, injury, disability or the aging process to live independent lives at home. They provide no-cost essential modification services such as access ramps, bathroom modifications, widening doorways, and installing grab bars.

PCRI

Portland Community Reinvestments Inc.

PCRI’s homeownership retention/home repair program focuses on low- and moderate-income homeowners, aged 55 and older, living within the City of Portland. This program is designed to prevent community displacement and assist elders with aging in place. The program provides a variety of programs and services to help existing homeowners retain their homes and remain in their familiar community.

Portland Housing Bureau

The Portland Housing Bureau offers a no-interest loan of up to $40,000 to fund repairs, like a leaky roof, or electrical and plumbing issues. The program is available for income-eligible homeowners who live in either the Interstate Corridor or the Lents Town Center Urban Renewal Areas. (Funding is subject to availability).
